- Victoria's bust facing left, abbreviated legend is as follows:

- (Victoria by the Grace of God, Queen of Britains, Defender of the Faith)
Reverse Design:
- Seated Britannia facing right, holding a shield and trident, with the word "FARTHING" above, and the date below.
Hardest dates to collect (Hardest first):
- 1863, 1895, 1876H, 1892, 1869, 1872 and 1880 (I have all of these)
Dates not produced:
- 1870, 1871, 1877 and 1889
H below Date:
- Several dates are found in this series with a "H" below the date (1874, 1875, 1876, 1881 and 1882). These coins were not minted at the Royal mint, but were produced in the Soho mint, Birmingham by Ralph Heaton & Sons.
